Senior ASIC Design Engineers

Lightstorm seeks highly motivated and experienced engineers to work on the design of our leading-edge ASIC and FPGA products.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years experience in digital ASIC/FPGA design
• Strong degree-level qualification
• Ability to contribute strongly to chip-level architecture discussions
• Ability to own the architecture/micro-architecture and implementation of large and complex design blocks
• Fluent in Verilog and/or VHDL
• Experience with Synopsys Design Compiler
• Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge of networking/telecommunications applications and protocols (Ethernet, Layer-2 switching, QoS, SONET etc)
• Strong verification experience
• Experience in one or more HVLs (Vera, e, SystemC, SystemVerilog)
• Experience with assertion-based design/verification flows (SVA, PSL, OVA)
