Solas Software Suite

The Solas Software Suite accelerates customer time-to-market for systems built using the Brooklyn-10 and other silicon products from Lightstorm. It is a complete carrier Ethernet software development platform, and it includes device drivers, robust APIs, development tools and an optional interface to leading carrier Ethernet stacks.

The Carrier Ethernet Services API includes a keyword HTML documentation tool for simplified training and ongoing maintenance. This top-level API of the device driver provides an abstract presentation of all Brooklyn-10 functionality and operating modes, allowing customers to program and deploy the device without needing to perform detailed register or table-level manipulation. It significantly reduces customer software development efforts since it allows programmers to deploy the device without needing to understand Brooklyn-10 internal device structure and operation.
