Brooklyn-10 Development System

Lightstorm Networks offers the Brooklyn-10 Development System that allows customers to evaluate the Brooklyn-10 Carrier Ethernet Switch. The Brooklyn-10 Development System is a compact 3U platform which demonstrates the functionality of the Brooklyn-10 and partner silicon solutions. It includes ten 1GbE SFP "client" ports. Optional "network" ports include support for either: ten 1GbE SFP ports or a single OC-192 SONET/SDH port. The Brooklyn-10 Development System also includes the Solas Software Suite and a complete testing guide. It is also ideal for becoming familiar with the latest carrier Ethernet standards prior to architecture and system design.

The Brooklyn-10 Development System demonstrates the functionality of the Brooklyn-10 and its support for Provider Backbone Bridging (PBB), PBB Traffic Engineering (PBB-TE) and Transport MultiProtocol Label Switching (T-MPLS).
